安妮·菲尼克斯博士.D. is the Executive Director of the Jesuit Social Research Institute at Loyola University 新奥尔良, where she leads faculty to contribute to criminal legal system reform and continue the Jesuit tradition of "faith that does justice".

Annie specializes in supporting social justice organizations to identify needs, 设计程序, 确保资金安全. She has a passion for working closely with community leaders to build innovative, 雄心勃勃的, sustainable programming.

Annie was previously the co-founder and development director of Operation Restoration, a non-profit organization that supports currently and formerly incarcerated women. She led efforts to establish a 监狱中的大学 program in partnership with Tulane University’s School of Professional 进步. Approximately 40 students at the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women are now taking for-credit courses required to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science. Annie is also an experienced 提倡 who has written and passed multiple laws in Louisiana and supported federal legislation to restore the Pell grant for incarcerated students.
